I've had this happen to me with bad memory. No pattern. Sometimes the
system would go days without a reboot, sometimes it would reboot three times
in an hour. Find a cheap piece of 128MB RAM and replace the 512MB for a
while. If the problem goes away, that nails it. If it doesn't, well, back
to the drawing board.
