Funny you should mention go back. I did revert to an earlier boot and it
seemed to work fine for a while. Did a thorough scan disk. Besides taking
forever it reported no errors. Which kind of surprises me.
This is an IBM 16 gig so I'll try their site for utilities. I did activate
the SMART drive capability but haven't gotten any alerts.
