Hi All:
I just received an IBM ThinkPad 560x, No OS. I updated the Bios
to the latest. The installed Win98. Everything seemed fine just a
little slow. In device manager Under -DiskDrives- only the
generic NEC Floppy Disk is shown, No hard drive at all.
Under -Hard Disk Controllers- the Primary IDE controller Has
a yellow exclamation point. In PROPERTIES the device status
shows " This device is either not present, not working properly,
or does not have all the drivers installed. (Code 10.) Try
upgrading the device drivers for this device."
Does any one know what drivers I need or is the controller bad?
The parent device is: Intel 82371AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE
Controller the drivers are ESDI_506.pdr and
VMM32.VXD The Primary Controller Drivers are
ESDI_506.pdr and IOS.vxd
HTH
TIA
