Hi Paleopeople,
Wed. April 24 Vancouver Sun has an article called:
Fat or fad? - The low-carb plan
Turning conventional food wisdom upside down can lead to weight loss
By Murray McMillan
The PaleoDiet was featured as one of the books listed as Top Sellers for
Slimming.
Here are some excerpts:
Karen Barnaby, a local chef, has lost 70 lbs eating this way. She weighed 235.
"It's remarkable. People report that their HDL and LDL (cholesterol) get in
balance, and that all sorts of things clear up, like arthritic pain, brain
fog, little aches."
Karen lists the support group www.lowcarb.ca that helps to "get through the
physical addiction (to carbs) and then the mental addiction".
Paleobest (and mainstream?!)
