I'm surprised to see that no on yet has mentioned magnesium, along with
potassium for foot and leg cramps.

Magnesium, folate, E and iron are recommended for restless legs.

Lois

on a related note, would anyone happen to know if there's any
nutritional
deficiency associated with restless-leg syndrome?  My mother and sister
get
it - that horribly maddening tickly feeling in your leg muscles - and
haven't been able to figure out how to prevent it.
