Thanks to the poster who mentioned Nestle's Butterscotch morsels are not
gluten free. I had just purchased a bag to make a recipe and was saddened
to find out they weren't GF. I called the company to confirm and they said
the flavoring contains barley malt. They did confirm the GF status of the
semi-sweet morsels and also the peanut butter & milk chocolate combination
bag and baking chocolate. I couldn't think of any other products to ask
about at the time.

She is sending a list of Nestle's GF products but said they didn't have one
for their baking items as they are in the process of updating their
labeling, on which they will list the 8 major allergens. (Sorry I didn't ask
what they all were, but from what she said, gluten is one of them.) Anyone
wanting a copy of the GF list can call 1-800-851-0512 or visit the website
at http://www.nestleusa.com.

Sometimes it feels like we are actually making an impact with all the calls
and letters. At least some of the manufacturers are listening to us. Keep
trying!
