Tiger Embosser - the first 3-D Windows Embosser

Corvallis, Oregon, (March 18, 2002) - ViewPlus Technologies, Inc. announces
the availability of the world's first 3 dimensional Windows embosser. The
Tiger Embosser now embosses using Variable-Height Punching, giving the user
vast flexibility combining multi-color graphics with braille for use in
tactile documents.

Materials for the Tiger Embosser are created just as they would be for a
Windows ink printer. Scan, draw or import graphics (regardless of format)
with any Windows application and emboss in tremendous detail on the
Tiger. Documents that contain text can be translated directly from
Windows. The Tiger embosses braille and graphics together beautifully and
easily - and now with Tiger 3-D, graphics are better than ever.

This revolutionary addition to Tiger embossers interprets the color
spectrum as varying punch depths. The darker a color, the deeper Tiger
punches. This added flexibility allows Tiger users to communicate even
more information than before - with no learning curve and using their
existing software. No longer must people have limited access to
information that contains multi-color graphics just because they aren't
sighted. There are no new skills or software to learn with the Tiger
Embosser. Any application that can print to a Windows ink printer will
print to the Tiger. With the Tiger's new ability to emboss variable-height
dots, the graphics they create are even more crisp and detailed than before.

The new 3-D feature for the Tiger Embosser comes at no additional
cost. All new Tiger Embossers are now deployed with 3-D
Technology. Upgrades for previous generations of Tiger Embossers are
available through View Plus Technologies.

The new 3-D Tiger Embosser can be seen at the CSUN Conference and
Exhibition, March 18-23, 2002 (booth 214/215), as well as future
venues. Contact ViewPlus Technologies for more information (541.736.1659,
