I have also had problems inside my mouth.  After contact with some
gluten-containing foods, my tongue begins to bleed even.  I've been to a
doctor years ago who diagnosed it as "Geographic Tongue", because he said my
tongue "looked like a road map."
 
I have talked to others with this problem.
