I use chickpea flour as part of the mix for my bread (chickpea flour,
cornstarch and tapioca starch) and have found 2 brands of gf chickpea
flour that are available locally at an Indian/Pakistani grocery store.
They are Shanrda (milled in India. I paid $2.99 for 4 Ib. Rahway NJ

Toronto Canada 416-292-9444) and Meera (milled at Chantry Four Milling
Inc, Southampton, Ontario NOH 2L0 519-797-2833. I paid $2.99 for 2
kg--when I called the gentleman that answered the phone was VERY
interested in how I use the flour).
Swad brand is NOT gf(they were very nice and replied promptly, they seem
to be a widely available brand but not gf <sigh>).
Of course buying in bulk from Bob's Red Mill is not so expensive at 25
lbs - $23.19 (plus shipping). However it would take me almost 2 years to
use this up and I currently don't have an "ordering partner".
Locally I have found both of these brands at:
Patel Brothers,(entrance by Popeyes) closed Mondays, Tues-Sat 11-8; Sun
11-7
