Try going back to Ie 5.0.
When I had W98, upgrading to 5.5 was a downgrade.
Did not see any advantage but was getting the same crashes as you are now.

Ultimately get rid of W98. W2k is more stable, but I realize that not all
applications will run on W2k that run on W98 (Sony abCD).


Where will you be in 100 years? If you don't know, I can tell you. (and its
not the grave). Write me.
