When you look in device manager is there a yellow exclamation point next to the video card? Sounds like there should be. If so, you should remove it in device manager and do a restart. Are there drivers for it on The Win Me CD in the drivers folder? Before you remove it go to the manufacturers web site to download the latest drivers for Win Me. You may have drivers that work in Win 95/98, but not Win Me (lots of manufacturers had to update drivers to run in Win Me). After you have drivers that are compatible with Win Me, then remove it. Go to C:\Windows\inf\other to see if you can find the inf file for the drivers you had. You can either delete it or move it to another folder before you do a shutdown/restart. Unzip the new drivers to a folder so you can install them on the restart. When Windows finds new hardware on the restart, choose "specific location" and browse to the folder where you have the new drivers. There should be a new inf file in there that Windows wil!
l use to install the correct drivers.
