Jenn,

Sorry to hear you can't talk to your mom about the pain.  My parents didn't
like talking about it either, but I think it was because they couldn't stand
to know I was in pain.  Parents are kinda funny about things like that.
They can't stand to see their children in pain and so sometimes they deny
it.  Children aren't supposed to be in more pain than their parents.
