Hi,
After installing and partitioning a new hard drive and putting Win 98se on
uneventfully, I have one nagging issue that is probably simple to fix, but
beyond me. On boot up, I get the following message: "Primary Slave Drive-
ATAPI incompatible"
"press F1 to continue"
Pressing F1 allows me to operate normally, but I would like to sort out
what that "incompatible" reference is. Previously on a Win 98 install, I
barely remember having to add some mscdex line to either configsys or
systemini by going to start/run and opening those old OS functions. I
think my new install needs some command string to load drivers for the CD
ROM, but I don't know.
Can someone please help/explain?
Thanks,Tom Sykora
