>NATURAL FLAVORS, flavoring, flavors...

I worked (journalism) in Rockingham county, VA, the single-largest poultry
producing county in the country at the time. It probably still is.
Ennyhoo, my pals at Rocco Poultry told me that the term "natural
flavors/flavoring" often means finely ground chicken parts, i.e. bones,
beaks and feet. This is especially popular as a neutral filler for spice
blends. Mmm, mmm, good eatin'! Actually, as we all know, this is nothing
compared to chemicals and, if anything, good for you! But if I tell my
friends this nugget (pun intended), it leaves a taste in their mouths so
sour they have to wash it down with Pepsi or some other chemical brew.
Inside, I laugh. Aint' I awful?

>"Natural" doesn't mean safe!

Yeah, look at snake venom; it's natural.
