I am no doctor but with celiac disease you get an immune system
response to gluten and the it is stressed that this is not an allergy
to gluten but an intolerance to gluten.
I find this all very confusing. <g>. I was told, after testing,
that I am a celiac and am also intolerant to casein. I get a very
vicious immune response to both (and to soy).
