i'm sorry. if I offended you. I just share what I learn with other people.
Believe me, I do understand your position, because i've gone through it with
my kids as well. I had a step daughter who had betwetting issues and i
learned that 80% of bedwetting cases was due to dairy allergies, whether the
parents are aware they are allergic to it or not. Even if they are aware of
an allergy most people don't make the connection with bedwetting.
Unfortunately, my step daughter's mother didn't want to cooperate in helping
me resolve the issue. SHe thought it was just easier to keep spending $10 a
week on diapers for a 6, 7, 8 year-old and not want to be bothered with
challenging any foods in her diet. She tried challenging milk for a little
over a week and then gave up. Because it workd some times and not others she
just assumed it was of no consequense and dismissed the whole idea.
Meanwhile back at the ranch, i was fighting my step daughter because she
insisted on agreeing with her mom. I also dealt with telling people at
other events she was allergic to dairy, so they made ice cream sundaes for
everyone else and gave her a cup of crackers. Now what kid wouldn't feel
alienated from something like that? Why couldn't they have just thought of
an entirely different treat all together? I'm sorry if I typed too long
again, but I wanted to stress that I do understand how you feel. I go
through it every day as well. If you want to email me seperately to save
space for the talk list you certainly can. Sue [log in to unmask]
