I have been reading comments by various people since the declaration of
winner of the last week's presidential elections in the Gambia. I agree and
disagree with some of the views expressed sofar about the entire elections
and the final voice of the Gambian people, but i still have my reservations
about the whole thing. One thing i must say is that electing Yahya Jammeh
and the APRC is a direct insult to the dignity of Gambians. Many people are
saying the voice of the people have spoken, yes the voice of the majority,
but a lost majority, a wrong majority , a voice spoken out of ignorance. It
is just sad. I cannot imagine it.
