Hi, Gary!

I use MS Word to do QSL cards on the rare occasion that I need one. I have
the margins set to accommodate post cards. I got some tractor feed
postcards some years back, but they never fed properly thru the old dot
matrix printer. Now I just tear off the edges and run the card thru the
ink jet printer.

One page in the QSL card MS Word file has a graphic on it and there are
words under it that have both our names and callsigns on it. This would be
the front of the card.

The other page for the other side of the card has the text which can be
filled in for things like name, callsign, frequency, RST, type of
equipment, date, time, 2-way or SWL, and the name and address
of the person to whom it is being sent. This address is situated so that
it can be mailed like an ordinary postcard. Since many times people are
kind enough to send S A S E's, you don't need to bother many times with the
stamp and such. Do remember to put your signature on the card
somewhere. I've heard that some cards aren't counted for awards if not signed.

I keep this file as a template, so to speak. I don't mean a Word Template
file but just a Word document file that can be edited as needed with each
QSO's information. I print one page at a time; because, of course, I need
to turn the card over. I guess you could simplify the process by printing
on 2 cards still connected by the perforations and fold it together for
sending.

Hope this is of some help to you.
