Yes, I got such a message.
Relax; your machine is clean. What's probably happening is that a virus
on an infected machine is forging message headers (both in the "from"
and "to" fields) and is sending infected messages using these forged
headers. Just ignore them.

Subject: Failure messages on Messages I Never Sent
Hi to all.
I have seen a couple of failure notices on messages that I never sent,
from
the lsoft listserver. I am running current antivirus software (Norton
Antivirus 2003) which is updated every time I go out on the Internet. I
manually do a live update as soon as I dial in to my ISP. After it
downloads Virus Definition Files, I go into Norton Antivirus and verify
that the date on the definition files actually changes. I have scanned
the
system, and it comes up clean. Is anyone else seeing this activity, and
is
there some further action that I should be taking to deal with this
problem.
Also, in the last three or four days I have seen a precipitous drop in
the
volume of inbound traffic from the list.
Thanks, and 73.
