Hey Bill,

What equipment does he have currently? (he asks, as the vultures circle) No, seriously, some of it may still be useful to him with some adaptation.

A lot of the guys here will swear by Kenwood equipment; TS-570 or TS-2000 for HF; THF-6A for an HT; TMV-7A or TMG-707 for a dual-band base or mobile rig. I haven't used any of it myself. However, with some ingenuity, I bet we can get him active again.

Anyone wanna help me string up a G5RV? :)
