I don'tknow if anyone has heard something like APCO Project-25 digital,
but that has varying opinions of it. I have used my dad's Ameritech
cordless phone with caller ID in it, and I checked to see if it was
digital with my scanner, and it was because I couldn't hear it. Maybe
more band width, because Astro especially what the new scanners will do
si designed to work with a narrow band width.
