Also the digital 900 MHZ cordless phones have great sound but still not impressed with difference in range.  Or this is true for mine.  I still like the analogue 850 MHZ cordless as I can listen to my teenage daughters on it but not the digital.

900 meg cordless phones can be either wide or narrow fm so I'm sure the same
is true for baby monitors. You get really good audio quality with wide
f m but it takes a stronger signal to receive.
