I have the bc780. I had to have it programmed for me by a sighted person. We
have both motorola and ericson trunking systems here in Denver and the radio
can track both. Even people who can see have trouble finding out what is
going on with the scanner. You have to be very familiar with it to know what
is locked out and which scan lists and banks are on or off. I have the enter
frequency disabled so I don't accidentally enter a frequency over something
else. It works okay though. But I wish it could be more accessible. I did
call Uniden and tell them that blind people really enjoy scanners and to and
do what ever they can to make their radios more accessible.
