I have heard good things about the paraphase or something like that as well.  

Incidently are you able to hit the irpl node from there to the one in Boise?  I think we are 417 or 436   I am not sure of the UHF frequency at your end though.  Check the nodes list at the IRPL project web page.  Boise (or at least one of them) is WB7REs.  Would be nice to do a sked sometime since I missed you on my last trhip through Oakley Ks 4 years ago..
