Bret, & other members of this list:

K6RRC & (I think it is W6) MMA have developed a line of portable antennas
that work well for things such as taking antennas on airplanes & for
backpacking.  It is a vertical that you can put in a briefcase along with
QRP rigs, if you wanna work QRP.

They also now have a portable beam which breaks down into pieces less than 3
feet long & comes in a nice little carrying case.

I don't know the name of the line of antennas but they are selling to places
such as HRO, AES, etc.
