Hi Tom,

My g5RV is only about fifteen feet off the ground at best. It works quite
respectably on forty through ten. Not particularly effective on 75. Keep
the feed line in the clear; it is a part of the radiator. I have used a
G5RV for fifteen years and am pleased with it. It is a compromise antenna
but a good one.

I will be in San Diego this weekend - I understand that the 146.730
repeater is the one I should use. May cross paths.

Good luck with the new antenna installation.
