Hello All

I have this rig and don't understand something about its action.

Here in the U.K. we have a major broadcast station on 198 kilohertz.
When I select this frequency either from the rig numeric keys or the PC
no signal is heard till I switch to the split mode.

I am puzzled.

Can anyone offer any suggestions:
A.  have I set something in a peculiar manner
b.  is this a facet of the rig not in the manual?
