Nice to see Buddy's KB5ELV comments on the Internet Radio
Linking Project. It has had an intersting effect on at least
one large Club in the Kitchener Waterloo area, about 100
miles west of Toronto.

We are all aware of hte current difficulty of getting the
young to join our hobby. Apparently several new sighted
young Amateurs have taken to the IRLP like a duck to water.
They are not the least bit interested in HF but thrive on
the IRLP. One can mumble about their lack of interst in HF
but the key is they are in the hobby.

Each of us can wonder why this is so and I have some
thoughts. However if it takes something ;oke IRLP to get
many of the young into our hobby, my thoughts are great.
