In a previous iteration my first 40 foot mast with the identical guying as described previously 3 point 2 wires supported two log periodic antennas for 2 meters. These were 11 feet apart horizontally in a vertical polarization and did a wonderful job of pulling out some good fm dx in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Again a micro burst dropped this tower and destroyed the logs. the Rother was fine but I have never had the nerve to do stacked beams even lightweight ones like my logs were. (FYI they were done on Seder booms with clear epoxy and weighed less than 5 lbs each. They were 13 feet long as I recall and together gave me a respectable 14 or 15 dbi.
I have been tempted to design and build some quads with PVC but have-not done so yet.
Thank You!

Before I put up two rohn 25G towers, I had a radio shack 40 foot push up
mast. I had it bolted to the back of the house at the roof level and my 80
and 40 meter inverted V antennas on it. No guys except, of course, for the
antennas themselves.
