What little I do know about USB I'm glad to share. On the P233 laptop you'll
have USB 1.1. On the PIII you may have USB 2.0. I say may because you'll
also need Win XP since earlier OS's don't support USB 2.0. USB 2.0 is
relatively new, at least in terms of off the shelf systems. It's a standard
that accommodates a faster transfer speed than USB 1.1 but is also backward
compatible to USB 1.1.
