I removed the SB Live sound card from my P3/W98SE computer because
I was short of resources. It was using 2 IRQ's. One was for a "legacy device".
I believe that is used for older or DOS applications.
My questions:

Can I not install the "legacy" portion of SB Live?
Should I disable the "legacy" device in Device Manager?
What will I lose without the "legacy device"?
How else can I minimize SB Live installation?

Thanks, Bob Lendrim
