Ashok, infrared is not something I've played with much, but I have built a
number of computers, and in my experience, most modern mobos have onboard
connectors to enable an infrared port to be established.  You'd need to
check out your mobo manual to see if the pins are there, then get yourself a
backplate with cable attached.
