You can't have LS-120 set for cable select and the CD-ROM set as a slave. I have never had an LS-120, so you need to check the user's guide to see if it should be a slave or a master on its channel. If you no longer have the user's guide, try setting the CD as a master (put it on thelast plug on the cable) and the LS-120 as a slave. If that doesn't work, just reverse it. My intuition tells me the CD-ROM should be set as a master and the LS-20 as the slave. In that configuration they will be seen, but I don't know if your system will treat it as an A drive like that. Question, does your mobo have a separate channel plug for a true A drive? If your system supports cable select, which it apparently does, why did you change the settings for the two hard drives to master and slave instead of leaving everything as cable select? It may be safer to just go back and change the hard drives to cable select and then change the CD-ROM to cable select. It just might work that way, but it isn't going to work with cable select/slave on one channel, and master/slave on the other.
