Did you check with Fujitsu on memory compatibility? It may not support 256M
chips.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Portable memory problem

Hi,

I have a little problem. I have a PIII fujitsu E-6644. I replaced the
128Mb module by two 256Mb memory module, but no luck: the computer doesn't
want to boot. I hear two long beep, and two series of 3 short beep. The
new memory is a Azenram, 256 mb 144pin pc133.

The original memory that came with the computer is a Samsung
PC133s-333-542-b1. By putting them side by side, it looks as though all
memory module are 144 pins also. What could be the problem?

Thank you for your help!
Andre Chiasson
