Hi Tom, Think you will be surprised how well it will work. Ofcourse having
it up a bit would be far better but have worked many guys over the years on
20 and other bands that had wires stuck out the window of their hotel at 5
watts, had dipoles just barely off the ground etc. They also say that you
need radials for most verticals but here in Florida have done great without
them on several different verticals. The g5rv works well on 20 meters anyway
so probably a super band for the vk's. If you work cw, 30 meters may be a
