Hi All,

I actually decided to make an attempt at an rtty contact yesterday after
watching some of the great dx on that mode coming in on the packet cluster.
However, when I turn on the monitor on my IC-746 and try to send rtty, there
is no shift of the single mark tone that can be heard. Has anyone on the
list tried this and could you give me an idea why I am not getting actual
characters sent and just a single tone? I would certainly appreciate any
help you could give me.

Thanks much and 73.
Kevin, K7RX
