For years I have visited the Boston Globe newspaper's online site,
BOSTON.COM, and until recently found it very accessible. Over the past few
months they have added cookies, pop-ups, video-only and other graphics
content that made it harder to access via a text-based browser such as
Lynx.
On Monday BOSTON.COM launched a new user interface which requires users to
register prior to accessing the site's content. I dutifully filled out the
registration form, but discovered there was no "submit" button visible to
Lynx. I sent a "feedback" message to the site asking how I could register.
This morning I received a response saying sorry for the inconvenience, but
BOSTON.COM does not support Lynx.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
