Zoomtext is the most temperamental for us at UIUC, but we have put all
those software programs on one computer in several of our computer rooms
around campus. The other issue is voice synthesis drivers, they are some
products that use keyed versions. Suggest you install different
synthesizers for products from different vendors to make sure there are no
conflicts, use hardware synthesizers for JAWS if possible. The hardware
synthesizers are more responsive than the software synthesizers. It
requires modification to video drivers that have sometimes caused un
recoverable errors. Suggest working the AISquared technical before
installation.
