Hello Volkard.
hmm that would be a shame really.
To patch something piecemeal all the time reminds me
of a worn pair of jeans with patches all over it.
Why would I want to have an OS like that.
I should be able to have the choice to wait til they get all
the bugs out, wait for the updated CD and then yes
expect to then have a good working OS.
I get a bit tired of Microsoft and the nonsense really.
I think I will stick with Windows 2000Pro.
Seems to be the best one so far.
And Windows ME was and still is a total joke!
And if people are into games, they have made a lot of changes now
with it so that its now very compatable for gamers as well as everyone else.
That to me is a major plus. I know many gamers that use Win2kPro and
they love it. It didnt used to be that way, but now it is. That made a lot of them happy because gamers, Graphics people and the top nerds out there dont like XP and they dont trust it at all yet.
Best wishes,
Sue Dobbs

  Hi Sue...

From everything I have read about the release of updates with XP, they
will be doing it as needed, in Windows Update or at their web page. We may
  never see a "Build" CD.
