The issue is not the size of the partition that might prevent this from
working. There is a number written on the hard  drive that if not found will
not let the restore disk install. You can call tech support and ask them for
the particular number that your systems original drive had and they'll give it
to you. Then again, I'm not familiar with your system in the sense that it may
not have this number scheme to begin with.

Why don't you just try to install and see what happens. Let us know if it
works.
