I'm using Win98 SE and when I try to restart in MS-DOS mode I get a message:
"Locate free PCI resources for Creative Audio Card"
and the system just hangs there.

I can get into MS-DOS by hitting F8 and choosing start in command prompt mode. Here the same message appears but then I get "Creative Audio @ Port b800 IRQ 11, Initialization complete"

System is:
Asus CUV4X motherboard with Pentium III 700 and 192 RAM
1hard drive, cd-rom, Plextor CDRW, Zip drive and SanDisk.
SB Live! Value sound card
nVidia Riva TNT 2 video card

I don't know where to start to try and resolve this problem.

TIA

Marilyn
