Stress, anger, impatience, and frustration. Which of these, if not all of
these, is at the root of the problem? Does resentfulness play a part?

What is the root cause? I know what I hope it is, as far as we're concerned.

As more disability advocates rise to the surface (as increasing numbers of us
realize that the power to make change is within our collective grasp), we
will see an increasing rise in backlash attacks -- hate crimes as they call
them.

I hope the Bureau's report of the incident rate increase of hate crimes
targeting PWDs is due to the fact that more of us are speaking truth where
truth is needed.
