I enjoy your ramblings, Ken. A positive outcome for me is that as he got
older, I would tell David how to fix things. With my head knowledge and his
dexterity, we "fixed" many things. He developed a knack at Mr. Fixit type
stuff including rebuilding a 1968 Mustang, which he drove to NC when he
moved
there.

    Otherwise, I have shared your experience of being taken hostage by
repairmen and auto mechanics.
