I sure hope someone can help me!

After I'm in Microsoft Word for a few minutes, the keys on my keyboard
change functions. For example, when I type the letter A, I get the number
7. When I type the letter s, I get the number 8, and so on. I guess I'm
going to have to use Notepad or Wordperfect for the time being, but there
must be a keyboard setting that got messed up somehow. In case you are
wondering, I don't have a virus. I need serious help! Thanks.
