Agreed 100%. When Apple gets everything worked out, then blind people
could pay through the nose for an Apple just like sighted people pay
through the nose for an Apple. :)
An Apple computer costs more than a similar Windows or Linux computer,
but in general it's worth it. Now, if Apple is selling their systems
with speech and Braille for free, you have to weigh the cost of that
vs. Windows + JAWS or whatever -- it may turn out that an Apple is the
affordable solution for blind users! That would be ironic.
Note that Linux is cheaper -- but it's not "mainstream" in the sense
of being a mature consumer user computer, especially for users with
special needs.
