pA while ago, I read one of Larry Elder's columns.
<http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/elder071201.asp> He was talking
about certain "politically protected" groups and the Social Safety Net.
I wrote him a letter about my "disability" and how I REFUSE to be a
victim. Apparently, he REALLY liked what I had to say because he used
my letter, in total, in one of his columns
<http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/elder071201.asp>.

Well, about 6 months ago, I got an email from him with a waiver
attached. He wanted to use my letter in his new book. Friday night, I
found a package on my doorstep with an autographed copy of the print
version and a copy of the audio version, read by Mr. Elders, waiting for
me.

My letter, again, appear in total, on page 20 of "Showdown, Confronting
Bias, Lies, and the Special Interest That Divide America". It appears
as part of Chapter One "Liberal Fascism". The section it is part of is
"The Americans With Disabilities Act: 'Protecting' The Handicapped By
Crippling Them".

Now, I KNOW what Mr. Elders (and I) have to say will probably upset some
of you and even make some of you mad. (At least one of you disparaged
the column my letter originally appeared in and called Mr. Elders "a
flake".) However, I am proud of what I wrote, stand by it and even
though I have had trouble getting a job in this economy and due to what
has FINALLY been proven to be a medical condition that has caused me to
be seriously Sleep Deprived, still REFUSE to collect Social Security
Disability Insurance even though I qualify for it.

I am proud of the way Mr. Elders used my letter. In my opinion, ADA has
been SERIOUSLY diluted and minimalized by fat people, smokers, and
people addicted to drugs and booze as well as others. (Somehow I have a
REAL hard time accepting a drunk is an "American with a Disability" and
I have at least TWO in my own family.
