does not work with lynx though which is why I say I don't know of one
that is truly friendly.  Irc is actually the best way to go if you want
a chat that all can use but it can be difficult to use in windows.
other solutions are the messenger types that provide for multiple users
but none of this is voice and I am not sure we were talking about voice
anywhy which leaves out whole swatches of people.
