I just upgraded an Aptiva computer too and ran into some video problems so
let's hope my experience will help you.
First your computer is: P200MMX(256kb)32mb3.2hddIDE PCI/ISA split(7x8) ATI
8xCD 33.6K WIN95 This system has an onboard video chip which must be
disabled BEFORE you can install another video card. To disable this chip,
locate jumper JP10 on the motherboard. (You may have to remove your riser
board to get at this jumper). Move the jumper to pins 2 and 3 and this will
disable the card. This board does not automatically disable the onboard card
when an auto-disabling PCI video card is installed.
The card you now have is:made by STB Systems. Its description is velocity
4400 PCI, 16 mb Sdram; the Mfg. part number is V41316. The source I looked
at did not have any more in stock.
If you decided to change your video card, try www.computersurplusoutlet.com
and look up video cards. I bought two PCI cards for my Aptiva for $5.99
each. Hope this helps you. Jack Tomlinson
