Also you can wrap salmon in foil with a little lemonjuice or white wine, black pepper and a bit of butter. Seal the foil into a pouch and poach it on the BBQ. About the only way I do like fish cooked...
Smoked salmon is not cooked though. It is smoked to cure it then sliced paper thin. Served as a delicacy.
