well, i have actually wondered the same thing? seems like a waste of good
time and effort.

I don't want to sound that I don't like following rules and laws, I do
follow them because there's no other way to work around them. But however,
I don't really understand the reasoning, if we have Cerebral Palsy or some
other non-curable disability that is medically known to last forever, why do
we have to continue running to the doctor to get ADA certified every 4
years, to me it's a waste of the doctor's time just for something that's
already known. I know that it has to be this way in cases like car
accidents or whatever and a person only needs help for a short time, but we
should have different levels of certifications.

Actually, it does but I've never been ADA certified for it. If this goes
on much longer though I'm going to become certified beleive me. In fact, I
have a ton of the applications at work that I hand out for our clients. I
guess now I may have to certify myself...
